Here are some of lodges stay while on your migration safaris in Serengeti park:

Serengeti Safari Lodge. Serengeti Safari Lodge is located in the heart of the famous Serengeti National Park, the Seronera Tana Spring Area. It features 15 spacious self-contained tents. Each tent is equipped with a private bathroom with hot shower, a mosquito net and a flush toilet, and has a veranda and large windows. The rooms are very comfy and absolutely heaven in the wild.

Serengeti Safari Lodge is modern, luxury and offers many contemporary amenities, such as a restaurant with the local and continental cuisine, a lounge with bar, fireplace, entertainment and internet, gift shop, spa, massages and a modern swimming pool.

The rooms at Tanzania’s Serengeti Safari Lodge are located in two-story, thatched Rondavels. With private decks, spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, guests enjoy beautiful views across the plains of the Serengeti.

The rondavels with the guest rooms nestled between the acacia trees and sparkling streams. Mwiba Lodge. Mwiba Lodge overlooks a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai River located within a wildlife reserve adjoining the southern Serengeti.

Accommodation at Mwiba Lodge consists of 10 tented suites laid out in a semi-circular formation and connected by wooden walkways. There are 5 tented suites either side of the main area. Some suites overlook a network of waterholes and others overlook the rocky valley below. The suite interiors are all identical in size and style and the wooden walkways between two pairs of tents can be connected to create two interconnected family units.

The lodge’s décor in form of traditional African artifacts such as local bead work work, wooden carvings and animal hides is impressive.

The main lodge offers a Jacuzzi moulded within the rock face as well as a pool overlooking the landscape, wistful living spaces, rejuvenating spa and gym, curated wine cellar and remarkable menus. An expansive pool is set on a rocky outcrop where guests can enjoy the resident wildlife that frequent the natural springs below.

Day and night game drives, bush walks, sun downers under the acacia terrace, bush lunches, and cultural immersions with the nearby villages are some of the magical experiences done while at the lodge.

Serengeti Kati Kati Camp. This camp is one of the Tanganyika Wilderness Camps, which are situated all over the country. It offers basic accommodations in a mobile tented camp.

This lodge is strategically located so you can take excursions across much of the vast Serengeti Plains. It is two hours’ drive from Olduvai Gorge Museum and Grumeti River.

The camp offers comfortable accommodation together with the unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari experience on a camp. Each of the tents has a shower, hand basin, and flush toilet, in addition to solar lighting. In its comfortable tents one will feel completely immersed in the surroundings and one can enjoy the rich animal life and vegetation of the area. The camp resembles the old camps of the first explorers in Africa with all the commodities of today.

The camp has been designed to cause a minimum impact on the environment. The entire infrastructure is mobile and the philosophy of the company is not to leave anything behind.

Four Seasons Safari Lodge. Four Seasons Safari Lodge is set deep in the heart of Africa’s renowned Serengeti National Park where the Big Five such as the lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the elephant and the rhinoceros run free on the endless untamed landscape. The lodge is just a 45-minute drive from the Seronera Airstrip making it easily accessible by connecting flights from main airports within Tanzania.

The lodge consists of 77 rooms of which 60 are guest rooms, 12 Suites and 5 Villas. For guest rooms, each of the spacious rooms features a balcony with direct views out across the savannah or the neighboring waterhole. The contemporary African-design rooms include four-poster beds and are furnished with local textiles and artwork. Rooms offer king or two twin beds, a refrigerated bar and a flat-screen TV and a full bathroom with separate shower and deep soaking tub provide all the comforts of home.

Each of the suites include offer an elevated open-air terrace with direct views over the Serengeti plains, complemented by a private pool. With a contemporary African-design with earth colors and wood, the generous indoor living areas include a master en-suite bedroom, lounge area with a double trundle bed and two full bathrooms, one with deep soaking tub, plus an outdoor shower, making them ideal for families.

The luxurious residential-style villa accommodations provide added space and privacy for families and groups of friends, with infinity-edge plunge pools and elevated terraces gazing out across the savannah. With a contemporary African-design with earth colors and wood, the generous indoor living areas include one, two or three bedrooms, lounge area with full bathrooms.

The Four Seasons Safari Lodge is in the famous Serengeti of Tanzania, East Africa. The offer for exciting activities as well as cuisine, beverages and leisure facilities are abundant.

The Four Seasons Safari Lodge in the Serengeti features six free-standing spa treatment pavilions, all of which are spacious enough to accommodate couples. The lodge’s Boma Grill offers a fantastic dining experience unlike any other. The seating is circular around an open fire pit. Seronera Wildlife Lodge. Seronera Wildlife lodge is artfully constructed round a rocky outcrop from glass and wood elements, perfectly blending into its surrounding; next to the lodge, several waterholes attract day and night the most amazing animals, providing a unique opportunity for a close encounter with the so called Big Five.

The Lodge is only 5 minutes far from the departing point of the hot – air balloon safaris, which offer a thrilling birds-eye wildlife perspective of the vast plains of the Serengeti. Seronera Wildlife Lodge has 75 spacious guestrooms all of them affording stunning views over the Serengeti National Park plains.

The Seronera Wildlife Lodge is located 4 km northwest of the Seronera Airstrip. The Seronera Wildlife Lodge is well positioned to easily access the Seronera River Valley game loops. Serengeti Sopa Lodge. This lodge is located on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the plains of the south-western Serengeti National Park. All rooms are en-suite with a lounge, veranda and minibar.

This safari lodge has about 69 standard rooms including one which is handicapped accessible. There are also 4 spacious double story suites with platform beds, bathtubs facing the plains and outdoor showers. The rooms are located along each side of the communal area. The rooms all have air-conditioning adequate bathrooms and some have balconies.

The general atmosphere is one of colorful comfort over homogenized style with good views from the restaurant and the service is good with the restaurant providing an exceptionally varied range of local foods. The main area of the lodge is split up both indoor and outdoor. Outside is a large pool and bar that looks over the Serengeti and indoor is another bar and very large restaurant area.  There is a conference centre for the larger corporate groups.

Some of the activities that can be done while at the lodge include day game drives.

Sanctuary Kusini Lodge. Sanctuary Kusini Camp is perched on a Kopje closely located to the fantastic spectacle of the Great Migration.  

The Sanctuary Kusini Lodge consists of 12 tented suites which are built on a stunning rocky outcrop in Serengeti. The Sanctuary Kusini Lodge is the only permanent tented camp in the southern Serengeti in Tanzania. The Kusini lodge also offers a one-of-a-kind private location within the park with private wildlife viewing.

Serengeti plays host to the great wildebeest migration and the park itself covers 14,762 square kilometres. The lodge overlooks the plains where the game is standard all year round. The 12 double tents, each having a personal guide, are built on a rocky outcrop on which the camp’s communal areas can be found. Each tent features en-suite facilities, a private veranda, hairdryer, ceiling fan and mosquito netting.

The camps communal areas include a dining area, lounge, library and campfire. Morning and afternoon safari drives are conducted at the Lodge in customized safari vehicles. The park is home to lion and cheetah populations and is known for excellent leopard sightings.

The famous wildebeest migration can be viewed from the lodge on a safari drive or from a hot air balloon. Full day safari drives and a bush lunch can also be enjoyed at this Lodge. Guests can also assist the Serengeti Cheetah Project with a particular cheetah tracking safari drive, view historical Maasai paintings and enjoy cosmic safaris.

Mbalageti Lodge. Mbalageti is a word from the old Maa language which used to mean wildebeest but today refers to the seasonal river in the area. This safari lodge is ideal for family vacations.

The family suites have 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and twin beds plus a TV Lounge and Dining Area. The lodge supplies each guest with mineral water, bathrobes, slippers, flashlight, umbrellas, walking stick on request, whistle, binoculars, safe deposit box, an emergency light and satellite TV.

There is an armed ranger stationed at the lodge 24hrs a day and security teams escort guests to and from their rooms. All bathrooms in the public areas are accessible to physically challenged guests. The Grumeti airstrip is 40 minutes away.

While at the lodge, families can enjoy an exclusive bush breakfast, a group bush dinner, a traditional sun downer, game drives, nature walks and hot air balloon rides.

Singita Sasakwa Lodge. Singita Sasakwa Lodge is sited at top of the Sasakwa Hill offering views over the Grumeti plains. The lodge offers a snooker table, tennis and archery lessons.

This lodge is set within Grumeti Game Reserve adjacent to the Serengeti allowing you the opportunity to gaze upon animals in the wild and learn about the beautiful African culture on hand. Singita Sasakwa Lodge allows you to live your safari dreams whilst relaxing in comfort.

The lodge offers visitors wild stretch of Africa all to oneself. The Singita Sasakwa has 9 cottages and 1 villa each with a private infinity pool. The beautiful four-poster beds are complemented by beautiful decor reflecting African influences with touches of wood, leather and grass.

All cottages are English colonial in style and spaced well apart to ensure ample privacy. The front door opens into a spacious lounge area featuring plush sofas and leather armchairs around a coffee table.

There is a cozy fireplace as well as an antique writing desk, television, mini-bar, tea-and-coffee station, telephone access to Wi-Fi. Each master bedroom is similarly decorated with highlights including a four-poster double bed, comfy armchair adjacent to another fireplace and further writing desk all under a twinkling chandelier.

Every cottage also has a dressing room complete with a safe and lots of storage space. The washroom has flush toilet, twin washbasins and freestanding claw-footed bathtub with shower attachment. The Singita lodge is known for high levels of service and excellent wildlife viewing especially for Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. The lodge has over 140 000 hectares of unspoiled Serengeti savannah to explore.

Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp. Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp is a tented camp set in the heart of Serengeti National Park offering guests the perfect blend of old African charm and elegance. This camp provides breathtaking vistas of the Serengeti savannah plains and you can capture the old romance of Africa experiencing its original charm.

The camp combines classic African beauty with modern setting in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Serengeti Acacia Camp features 10 canvas tents that are all equipped with private bathrooms, flush toilets and other important facilities. These tents are connected by paved paths to the camp’s central lounge and eating spaces which are positioned in front of the camp underneath a soaring canopy of acacias.

There are three En Suite options namely the Double Tent which is excellent for couples, the Family Tent which is excellent for two adults and two children and the Triple Tent which is excellent for parties of three.

Serengeti Osupuko Camp. Serengeti Osupuko Camp is located on the scenic slopes of the Rongai Hills in central Serengeti. The camp overlooks the Seronera Valley which is home to most of the cats found in the Serengeti and there are plenty of other resident wild animals including giraffes, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, baboons, monkeys among others.

Osupuko Camp has 10 spacious luxury mobile tents which are accessible to the disabled. These are well appointed and have comfortable and colorful soft furnishings and a verandah lounge. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet, a wash basin with hot water at all times and a camping shower. Complementary toiletries are available. 24-hour electricity is provided by solar power and torches are provided in case power goes off.

Facilities at the camp include a writing table, reading lights, both in bed and at the writing table, mosquito nets among others. Complimentary tea and coffee are also available all day.

The main mess tent houses the restaurant and bar. Special dietary requirements are catered for with advance notification. Picnic baskets can be made up on request. There is a library and games area, internet facilities, a cozy lounge and a central fire place for evening sun downers.

The Camp can provide laundry services and baby-sitting and children’s menus. Osupuko Lodge is a great central location from which to go on game drives, and take nature walks or go on a hot air balloon safari.

The camp is not far from Moru Kopjes where Rhinos are easily spotted and it is strategically located on one of the main migration corridors where millions of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles migrate annually accompanied by predators.

Mbugani Camp. Mbugani Camp is located in Seronera the heart of Serengeti National Park. Mbugani Camp is a mobile camp that consists of 10 tents plus a dining and lounge tent. Each roomy tented suite features queen-size beds, private bath and oversize screened windows for taking in fresh air and scenery. The camp follows the great wildebeest migration in Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti allowing the visitors an opportunity to experience this wonderful natural spectacle up-close.

They have Wi-Fi in the common area and is solar-powered with a backup generator, hot and cold running water is available all day.
